SIR – What do you make of it all? The 100-Day War has started and you will determine the outcome.

Last week David Cameron was singing the blues telling us what we will get if the Tories are elected, and there has been an attack on Gordon Brown, which had him seeing red, for his alleged bullying.

Nick Clegg and the Lib-Dems try to be all colours to all people, and the strange thing is that as Cameron pushes himself and denounces Brown, some polls show Labour narrowing the gap between themselves and the Tories. If you are not yet confused you soon will be.

In 1939, Dorothy, in The Wizard Of Oz, sang Somewhere Over The Rainbow Skies Are Blue, but I don’t think she was a Tory and her relatives and friends showed Labour and Liberal tendencies. The Wizard Of Oz himself had a big following of the people and it strikes me that each of our parties is looking for its own wizard.

So in the days ahead you must choose your wizard. Will it be Brown, Cameron or Clegg. The choice is simple – or is it?
