SIR – I have only this to say about the Yorkshire Ripper, Peter Sutcliffe (pictured): as the mother of his final victim said at the time, he is a coward, a coward then and now.
Leopard’s don’t change their spots, and he is one that should remain caged. As for his hopes of parole, Sutcliffe should try the Lotto. He’s more chance of winning that!
