SIR – Too often, when some of us decry what is happening to the centre of Bradford, we find ourselves all portrayed as being unwilling to accept change, albeit that we can all accept change if obviously for the better.
It was therefore most interesting to see that the BBC’s Roger Mosey (pictured), a respected old Bradfordian, when asked about Yorkshire today, was quoted as saying that the biggest negative in recent years has been the appalling and unforgivable mess that has been made of Bradford city centre.
He went on to say how he hates seeing the old Odeon Cinema in such a state of disrepair.
Unfortunately, as ever, no-one in authority in Bradford, or at Yorkshire Forward or BCR, is ever interested in listening to these sorts of views.
What have we done in Bradford to have such leaders in control of our once great city?
