SIR – Re the suffering of Chris Marriot (pictured) with regard to the Child Support Agency (T&A, November 30). Here is a man trying to do his best for his children, like thousands of other men, only to be fleeced by the CSA.

The CSA is now the responsibility of the Child Maintenance and Enforcement Commission, whoever they are, but has this made the CSA any better? I don’t think so.

The CSA was set up to get money off those who did not pay for their kids, but it seems to squeeze as much as possible out of the ones that already pay, as they are an easy hit, instead of going for people who are not paying for their children.

The shambles goes on and on.
