SIR - Police in Bradford are to be provided with head-mounted cameras (T&A, January 17) Inspector Tatham, head of Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "The police will get a telephone call reporting an incident and officers will be deployed immediately to the scene and start capturing images as soon as they get there'.
Does this mean that now our cash-strapped police force will have officers on stand-by just waiting to spring into action?
If so, this will amaze those who in the past had to wait hours for the boys in blue to turn up.
