SIR - Re Malcolm Wood's letter "Keep our money in the country, Gordon" (T&A, January 22), he succinctly covers the crazy way our Government wastes our taxes.
I agree the £50 million of our hard-earned money should be used in our country.
It could be added to the £57.5 million allocated to the "deep clean" of hospitals to ensure that, once done, there are sufficient staff employed and controlled by the matrons to maintain a safe environment for the patients of the future.
