SIR - The young actress Abi Uttley (T&A, January 8), who is now filming in the new TV soap The Royal at St Luke's Hospital, stated she had been born in the ward they were filming on in the old maternity wing.
She gave her age as 22.
If my memory serves me correct, my only daughter, who is 52 in April, was born on that ward while her eldest daughter, who is 34, was born at the new BRI maternity wing because St Luke's maternity wing had closed by then.
I am sure there will be someone out there to put me right one way or the other.
