SIR - As an Olympic bobsleigher I know that keeping fit can be lots of fun.
One of the best ways to keep children fit is through play. Sadly, many disadvantaged children don't have access to safe play areas.
As part of Dare to Care's Make time to help end child poverty campaign, Children's Links are trying to open up more opportunities for children to play safely.
Dare to Care is run by CSV, the UK's leading volunteering charity and the Campaign to End Child Poverty and aims to recruit 35,000 volunteers to improve the lives of children in poverty in the UK.
So whether you're a teacher, youth worker, or just someone who's still a big kid inside, then why not give your time to help make a lasting difference to the life of a child.
