SIR - For the past two years I have tried, begged and pleaded - without success - to get the 607 Bradford First Bus service to go an extra bus stop to the very top of Broadstone Way, Holme Wood.
I've more-or-less been informed that it is only 150 yards from the bus stop to my house.
I'm a pensioner, among scores of other pensioners, on Holme Wood who would be grateful for a bit more consideration by Bradford First.
It's not the 150 yards that's the problem, it's the last 150 yards of a very steep hill. It's a real hardship when lumbered with heavy shopping.
This extra bus stop would be a Godsend to pensioners - of which there are many - and semi-invalids who use this service regularly.
Couldn't Bradford First get their heads together and find a solution? This would be greatly appreciated. Pensioners are really struggling here, all for the sake of an extra bus stop.
