SIR - May I suggest we all get behind Councillor Kris Hopkins on his bid to keep the property developers off Yorkshire's greenbelt.
The Labour Government says we must build 50,000 new homes. That means at least 50,000 more cars on the road 50,000 more wheelie bin contents to get rid of etc.
This Government got us into this mess not only with its open door immigration policy, but by encouraging people to have families with all the benefits that entails.
Let them sort it out and leave us alone.
