SIR - The generosity of our City Fathers never ceases to amaze me! Here was I thinking that children were going to get free swimming passes, full stop.
Then my dreaming came to a full stop when I realised it was for Christmas period only.
Children from the age of six or seven should all have a free pass to swimming baths - to get them into a learning fitness programme and maybe we will find another Adrian Moorhouse.
A free swim should not be "only for Christmas"!
