SIR - It's not often we read good news in the T&A, but December 18 really was a heyday as far as good news goes.
I am referring to the murderers of PC Sharon Beshenivsky being turned down in their appeal to have their sentences cut.
It finally looks like judges are seeing some sense.
Let's hope 2008 sees more lengthy, stiffer sentences for those that continue to make everyone's lives a misery.
That includes burglars, rapists and bad drivers. Well we can hope, can't we?
