SIR - I remember taking my two children to the Busby's grotto, it was lovely. All the windows had animated toys in.
One correspondent (T&A, December 4) asked if anyone remembered Lingards. I remember taking my two there as well.
They loved seeing the money go round the shop and the change coming back.
I was born in Bradford in 1928, in Undercliffe Street. I can also remember George Mozley. He used to dress as Charlie Chaplin and walk down Undercliffe Street to the Hippodrome, later the Roxy.
