SIR - As a young schoolboy back in the long, long ago, I had to learn a rhyme which enabled me to remember the order in which the books of the Old Testament were arranged.
The other day I was asked if I remembered it. Of course I said: "Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Acts and Romans follow on, er, dum de dum de dum de dum."
So please, is there anybody out there who can help?
I know that this is not the type of teaching the young people of today receive, but hopefully, there is one who is older, wiser than me, and with a better memory among your readers.
