SIR - To return to the age-old topic of speeding cameras, I hope "PC Plod" failed to make his Christmas bonus on November 27, because he returned on December 2 to try again, both times arriving at approximately 9am.
If he had arrived at 7am he would have caught the "idiot run", or at 8pm, any evening. But no! He appears after the school run when the bulk of morning traffic has gone.
Surely, at this time it is not a question of safety but money. How stupid do they think the public are?
What possible safety measures can this be, as I counted three cars in 40 minutes pass the van?
