SIR - Two discs with details of 25 million people have been lost by the government, so David Cameron jumps up at PM's Question Time and rants and raves at Gordon Brown.
What for? All the information on the discs can be found via the internet and every time you pay by cheque you make public your name, bank number and sort code.
Of course it should never have happened, but what a fuss about nothing.
Mr Cameron ought to regulate his actions by consistent principles rather than favourable opportunities.
