SIR - The Council imports snow from who knows where so that our children can see the potential harm to our environment, then turns a blind eye while some of those same children attend a school in the consultation zone of a major chemical hazard site.

Dangerous chemicals should not be allowed anywhere near children.

It is the risk that should be removed, not the school. The chemical industry needs to read the small print on their own bottles, "keep away from children!"
