SIR - Regarding the Wyke Manor School, pictured, if it is considered dangerous to rebuild there because the land is close to A H Marks' Chemicals, why are the children still being allowed to go to the present school?
Does this also apply to Worthinghead School which is as near to the chemical works as Wyke Manor, as are the houses down Wyke Lane?
Wyke Manor School, Worthinghead School and silver birch estate (the bungalows on Westfield Lane) were all given planning permission when the chemical works was already there If it is so bad shouldn't they all be closed?
Mrs I Kerry, Griffe Drive, Wyke
