SIR - I was saddened to see my favourite independent coffee shop closed and unlikely to open again.
Lefteris opened at Rawson Square and then moved to the bottom of town to the former KFC store.
Terry and Maria who own the coffee shop were both very hardworking and driven and have put their lives and soul into their coffee shop!
Where is all the help to keep quality shops in the town centre? Who can afford to pay their bills when they have been closed so long?
Bradford Council should be stepping in to give financial help to help such businesses recover after Covid 19, before all of them are lost.
We greatly looked forward to going to Lefteris and such charming friendly people such as Terry and Maria are a loss to Bradford and its people!
