SIR - As someone from the very southern tip of God's Own County (Tottenham) may I praise your photographers on the splendid Yorkshire Day pictures (T&A, August 2).
What a tonic to see Town Cryer Kevin, Pudding Hatted Sue, Peter, Cindy and Helen with their appetising cake and Jess with her cuppa which struck me as looking really tasty.
Keep up the good work of reminding us that the vast majority of Yorkshire folk are delightful people and a joy to be with.
Is that enough to get me naturalisation?
