Captive market SIR - Have you ever wondered if the people making PC viruses also make and sell the anti-virus programmes?
Having purchased expensive PCs, most people on the Internet can be caught out by the innumerable viruses floating in cyberspace, which ultimately can corrupt their PC and put them beyond use.
I think that more responsibility should be put on the manufacturers and the service providers to ensure viruses cannot reach the individual user.
Anti-virus software is big business and should be looked into at government level. Let's face it, it's a captive market!
