SIR - What a wonderful idea about the free bus to bring pensioners, the disabled and the much needed shoppers to the desert of our city.
But why? All they will find in the centre is the Bradford pyramid and if the bus can't drop people off in Darley Street or at the Kirkgate Centre, how will the elderly and disabled walk up the hills.
If the bus wants to take them to the centre then why not supply buckets and spades, let children flatten the pyramid and think about putting Lake Ludicrous' there instead of in front of City Hall.
This way you will have a ten year start on the lake as I'm sure it will be that length of time before anything is started due to the usual excuses of rising costs.
Unfortunately, by that time Bradford will be a ghost town, with a pyramid.
