SIR - I had to smile at the reference in the leader article (T&A, June 27) to smoking "even on the top of Ingleborough".
Was it perchance penned by Mike Priestley?
The reason I ask is because I vividly remember his referring in one of his walking pieces, many moons ago, to people polluting the fresh air by doing just that!"
