SIR - Regarding the article (T&A, June 22) about motorists on Prune Park Lane, using it as a speed track, etc, and Ms J Overton getting a petition up, I will tell her now - do not bother.
I have petitioned about my road, Bolton Hall Road, Wrose, for the last three years, writing and petitioning everybody from MPs to councillors, without a bit of success.
Vehicles are still speeding on this 30 mph road at 70 mph plus and regarding the police, forget it, they don't want to know.
So my advice to you Ms Overton is forget it. You will just have to live with it.
