SIR - May I first of all thank the T&A for their continued and very welcome coverage of our attempts to serve the elderly public.

In particular, the splendid coverage by Emma Clayton of our pursuit in providing interesting mobile movement classes in the form of Bollywood Dancing.

We were encouraged to promote community cohesion, which prompted our efforts and having spent a considerable amount of time, money and energy, it is sad to relate that our costly efforts were not rewarded.

We employed a multi-lingual Development Officer, to accommodate everyone with an inquiry and voluntary workers who were multi-ethnic.

With the aforementioned, plus the complexities of management, we have decided to close our operation at the Thornbury Centre.

Since our efforts at unity have been misjudged, we consider the only alternative was to cancel our operation, which took effect from June 25, 2007.

I would like to reassure people who are interested, that prior to relocation, we can be contacted at 29 Westgate, Eccleshill, Bradford, BD2 2DH.
