SIR - Last Saturday we had a break-in at Roleystone Horse Sanctuary.

Nothing was taken, but substantial damage was done to a very heavy secure door.

It is doubtful children were to blame for this, as they have more sense than trying to cripple themselves with such a heavy door.

May I point out that we at Roleystone have nothing worth taking from the yard, as anything of value is stored elsewhere.

This was a pointless and profitless exercise and all these people have done is to cause us to spend time repairing the damage rather than giving full attention to our animals.
