SIR - My previous letter concerning the state of the Odeon with its copious amount of foliage from the roof and windows making it Bradford's own hanging garden, has prompted Councillor David Ward to make a correct allegation that Bradford is now an embarrassment with the sight of the Odeon.
Many people visit the Alhambra from all over the country, and are seeing the rotting building.
Can I make a suggestion to our Council?
If the trees, etc are not removed, then when it's Eid, Diwali, and Christmas, why not put up decorations and coloured light?
This would save the council money for they would not need to buy Christmas trees for Centenary Square and also other festive symbols for all religions!
Mrs Beryl E Erdely, Todwell Lane, Bradford
