SIR - As a supporter of the Lib-Dems I must give former Liberal Democrat leader Paddy Ashdown a pat on the back for refusing incoming Prime Minister Gordon Brown's offer of a job in his new Government.
As I have always thought, the Liberal Democrat party is the only party out of the three that talks or acts with any sense. What more proof does one need?
