SIR - Your report about the fascinating BBC programme, Building Britain - A Tale of Two Cities', which compared the development of Bradford and Leeds (T&A, June 21) steered clear of controversy.
The report omitted to mention that, at the time of filming, nobody who presenter Linda Barker interviewed could or would give her a straight answer about the future of the Westfield shopping development.
Secondly, design expert Miss Barker was clearly underwhelmed by the look and potential iconic status of the building planned to go up on the Odeon site.
Both of these issues affect Bradford's mood and morale in the here and now. Will Alsop's masterplan is another matter, by design.
