SIR - There are 1550 Neets' (not in employment, education or training) in Bradford, each costing taxpayers an average of £97,000.
That's a staggering £150 million (T&A, May 26).
The Government says nearly half of those described as Neets' are not unemployed - they include gap years, mothers looking after young children or young people between jobs or courses.
Excuse me, but that still means they are not working and even if those were discounted that still leaves 750 Neets', costing the taxpayer £75 million.
Why should this be so?
If they don't want to stay in education, train for work or actually get a job then their benefits should be stopped.
("If any would not work, neither should he eat" - II Thessalonians ch 3, v 10).
Is it any wonder so many immigrants willing to work are welcomed by countless employers?
