SIR - The Children's Trust is celebrating Volunteers Week (June 1-8) by acknowledging the fantastic and varied work of the 350 individuals who selflessly give up an amazing 50,424 hours a year to help the children and staff at the Trust.
At The Children's Trust volunteers get involved with all aspects of work, from helping during the children's therapy sessions, reading stories or playing with the children to office-based administration work to driving to fundraising, helping out at events and acting as ambassadors' to raise awareness of the amazing work done every day at the Trust.
Last year the time donated by volunteers at The Children's Trust rose by a massive 3,000 hours.
The Children's Trust is always keen to hear from anyone interested in volunteering.
