SIR - As a supporter of Breast Cancer Care, I know just how much help this unique charity gives to people affected by breast cancer. I also know how vital volunteers are in helping the charity provide that help.
In nearly all cases, these volunteers have a personal experience of breast cancer. This means they have a real understanding of what women and men with breast cancer are going through.
Breast Cancer Care's volunteers work extremely hard all year round, which is why I wanted to take the time during National Volunteers Week (June 1-7) to say a massive thank you' to all of you.
Your dedication and commitment to helping people affected by breast cancer is amazing and you should never underestimate how valuable your work is.
If anyone reading this has any worries about breast cancer, then the best thing to do is to talk about it with someone. That's what Breast Cancer Care and its volunteers are here for, so call them free on 0808 8006000.
