SIR - The National Autistic Society (NAS) is inviting people to join their trekking team on June 15-17, 2007 and explore the spectacular landscape of Snowdonia and climb Wales' highest peak.
The Snowdon Horseshoe Challenge takes place over a summer weekend and participants will trek down from the slate mining town of Llanberis, past the majestic sheer cliffs of Clogwyn, and on to the summit of Snowdon to complete this stunning trek.
To snap up your place on the challenge, you must pledge to raise £295 for the full weekend or £100 for the Saturday only. This will cover the cost of transport, accommodation, guides and meals.
By taking part in this event, participants will be helping the over 500,000 people with autism in the UK today and supporting NAS services including the Autism Helpline, Advocacy for Education Service, Befriending scheme, Parent to Parent support service and help! programme.
