SIR - In answer to John Hall (T&A, May 23) I personally have no plan.
I am not a councillor, I have little say in the matter, I am not tied to any particular party, although I admit to voting Tory with little exception since 1946, being a firm supporter of the late Sir Marcus Fox MP and a firm supporter of Margaret Eaton when she was leader.
Unfortunately, she spent more time in front of the camera than she did behind the desk and it was your leader, John, who put a motion of no confidence' against her.
I just stopped supporting her. I put people before politics, service before self.
As a war veteran in his 82nd year may I throw the ball back and ask what is your plan John?
Stephen Walsh, Church Street, Bingley
