SIR - Does anyone seriously think that The Queen is not aware that everywhere she goes people paint grass green, parade grounds black and daffodils yellow ?

The Queen, no doubt, did notice there was debris on the ground but not just in the approaches to Bradford but to everywhere that she travels. That is because we are the untidiest nation on earth. We have become a huge scrapyard with dumping grounds everywhere you look.

I do not think for one moment that the Queen would have seen that Bradford is any different, better or worse than anywhere else in the rubble stakes.
