SIR - After last year's dismal entry, Daz Sampson, in the Eurovision Song Contest one would have thought a lesson had been learned.
Alas, not so. This time we were represented by a third-rate, end-of-pier group called Scooch, all thanks to an appalling lapse of taste by the voting viewers.
If we are to have any hope of success in the future, choice of entry should be made by professionals.
