SIR - Three cheers for forward-thinking John Blackburn, head of traffic and highways south.
Thanks to him we can now proceed along James Street without the horrendous gridlock of pedestrian traffic caused by John Hardaker's plant display.
This gives us improved access to Rawson Road where we can flock unimpeded to the conglomeration of two shops.
Alternatively, we can walk up a few yards to the corner of James Street and John Street, pass the outdoor display of Treat You cut-price food shop, to get to the Oastler Centre (which is actually a market) or (soon to close) Morrisons.
However, all will be well as Bradford Christians are planning to pray for Bradford for two minutes every Friday.
So that's all right then.
S Bean, Bempton Court, Bradford
