SIR – I had the pleasure of attending a number of events at the recently staged Bradford Literature Festival. They were most enjoyable, thought-provoking and highly informal.
I would like to congratulate the festival directors Irna Quershi and Syma Aslam for their efforts in putting together such a diverse programme and for the venues they were able to secure to stage these events that added to the quality of the talks and activities.
I, like many others I spoke with, am very much looking forward to next year’s event where I hope more people will support or attend what I am sure will be another amazing ten days of literature excellence.
My only regret is that I didn’t see more. Thank you once again for the above-mentioned individuals for putting Bradford on the literature map.
