SIR - I was glad to read that the organisers of the Ratma short film festival in Keighley feel it was worthwhile and a success.
Earlier in the month I visited the pop-up cinema, and while I was only there for 45 minutes, I enjoyed a good eight short films, due to the skill, quality and sheer imagination that I witnessed within the short film format.
It was this that prompted me to attend the main event the following Saturday.
Although I only visited and stayed for two hours that morning, personally I felt it was well worthwhile, although I did worry over the lack of others as I only met three people in various screening rooms.
Despite that, well done to Marcus Gregg and his enthusiastic volunteers who did a marvellous job, and I hope to attend and stay longer next year.
