SIR – Now that the Labour Party has been resoundingly thrashed by the Conservatives maybe Mr Durkin may tone down his vitriolic outbursts against them.
As he is obviously a part of the minority as far as politics is concerned, it just shows that the majority of the country believe exactly opposite to what he does. Plenty of people have strong views regarding politics but do not feel the need to go into print to express them.
Take the beating Mr Durkin and try to learn from it.
