SIR - So the public toilets in the centre of Shipley have now been closed down by Bradford Council.
If a town the size of Shipley cannot justify public conveniences, then the current council is simply not fit for purpose.
To keep using funds for union representation within the council but deny the people of Shipley and visitors the basic right of a central public convenience – especially when there are excellent facilities already in place – tells us all we need to know about this council’s priorities.
