SIR - Low Moor Station is to be up and running by December (when are they going to begin building work?) but, is there anyone out there with photos of the original station and engine shed?

My memories of the station are only in my mind. Boarding the loco to grandparents in Heckmondwike, or day trips to Blackpool, us kids, running up and down the corridors, excited, wanting to be the first to spot the tower.

One of them would shout he had seen it but, it was only one of the new electric pylons that were springing up across the country. Memories of riding along the Spen Valley line, passing old wool mills.
