SIR – Would it be possible to find the reason for putting road humps on Green Lane, Baildon?

Have there been a number of accidents? Have vehicles been using it as a race track?

The humps are situated on or very close to sharp bends, they are on a badly-lit road.

This road does not run past a school or through a housing estate.

This would appear in my opinion to be another money-wasting scheme by the council (unused electric car charger).

The road humps are in dangerous positions, poorly marked and require investigation.
