Rival fans were a great credit to football
SIR – I AM am writing to express what a true credit Oldham Athletic fans were on Saturday.
It was a fantastic gesture by them to offer a minute’s applause in the 56th minute in memory of those who died and were affected by the fire.
They also showed fantastic support at half time when Bradford Disability Football Club played on the pitch.
All too often football fans make the headlines for the wrong reasons. I feel on Saturday Oldham Athletic fans were a credit to their club and indeed football itself.
Well done Oldham!
