SIR – I have no intention of supporting Conservative fundraisers (Brian Holmans, Letters, March 5).
All I will say is they are not invoking physical violence.
If Len McCluskey gets his way and the secondary picketing laws are repealed, a repetition of Scargill’s unsavoury activities are inevitable in my opinion.
I wish all my critics a long and happy life and am pleased we express our political differences in the excellent Letters columns in the T&A.
Also that nobody has shown any sympathy for the disgraceful incident that took place recently at Grangemouth in Scotland.
