SIR – The three girls that have left their homes, schools, family, friends and the security they enjoy from the same is a tragedy.
In seeking to blame some agency for this situation their parents are blaming others. The girls had access to money and passports which were vital ingredients in their plans which were put together via their mobile phones. I sincerely hope this incident will help affluent, privileged parents to be more careful in raising clever children. Our police and border agency could do without having to deal with additional situations like this.
