SIR – David Cameron, now saying 500 new free schools, then a guaranteed four per cent on granny bonds, and 20 per cent on starter homes. I would like to ask the Tories, where is the money coming from to pay for all these election tasters?
Is it the cuts to the police, or the cuts to the armed forces or the NHS?
I am not an economist or an accountant but I am OK at sums, so if any Tory can explain can you keep it simple in layman’s terms, it would be appreciated.
Also if the money’s there for granny bonds at four per cent, why is it just pensioners? What about the rest of us?
