SIR – The recent appointment and subsequent resignation of the Bradford Labour candidate just about sums up the situation with the Labour party in Bradford.
Unfortunately it would appear that it has been largely hijacked by community groups with their own agendas, leaving the door wide open to the brilliant opportunist that is George Galloway.
George, a very good orator and nothing more, will play to the crowd and tell them whatever they wish to hear, basically all in the name of his craving for fame and press coverage.
Can anyone seriously suggest that a man who dressed and acted as a cat on live TV is a suitable candidate to represent the people of Bradford ?
The people of Bradford are largely dyed in the wool Labour voters and crave a good honest representative in Parliament.
Time to have a clear out, Labour, and get your house in order before the washed out thespian that is Mr Galloway cons his way in again.
