SIR – It looks like the Tories are having a closing-down sale before they run out of time.
First it was the un-consented sell-off of the Royal Mail and now the country`s share of Eurotunnel.
What a brilliant move, sell it before the profits peak and then the investors will get a good return.
Sound familiar?
When did publicly-owned businesses become the property of the Tory party?
I was under the impression that public ownership meant what it says?
Were we consulted about this transaction?
As ever… the answer is no.
The election can`t come soon enough so that we can once more rid ourselves of this shower and return to living in a democracy.
