SIR – The Chancellor George Osborne makes great play in his speeches about it not being fair to saddle our young people with the debt we found our country in because of the global financial meltdown, that this Chancellor requires us to believe was all Labour’s fault.
Mr Barack Obama would have loved to tell America “it was all the UK Government’s fault, but he couldn’t because it wasn’t.
This Government’s £9,000 per annum student fees policy is already saddling our young with approximately a £40,000 debt at their course end.
When will Grant Shaps, Conservative Party chairman start putting his brain in gear before he speaks in defence of his government’s failing economic experiment?
This country and its people cannot afford another five years of Mr Osborne’s failures.
He has already told us that the second part of his ten year plan, which at the last election was a five year plan is going to be more painful (but not for him) than the last five years.
The Conservatives and the right-wing media barons can no longer blame the trade unions for this capitalist mess.
